The Harriets met at a party in Leeds when they were banging on about Johnny Marr and Paul McCartney respectively, and they\u2019ve not found a good reason to stop since. Both songwriters that were in search of a band, they formed The Harriets as a means of collaborating on existing tunes and continuing to write more.<\/p>\n
The Harriets sound features the bright and distinctive vocal harmonies of its two frontmen, and jangly retro-inspired guitar work. The band has played many gigs in its native Yorkshire as well as the International Pop Overthrow Festival in Liverpool’s Cavern Club. They are also on the line-up for Bingley Music Live Festival in September 2017, alongside acts such as The Manic Street Preachers and the Kaiser Chiefs.<\/p>\n
